Tutors

Trained tutors from a variety of majors work with students in their specialty area including mathematics, sciences, and all stages of writing. Tutors are available by appointment through the Tutor Bookings QR code available on bulletin boards around campus and in the Swede Space Student Resources Course.

Test Proctoring

Proctors are available for students who need to take a test outside of the normal class time for any reason. If a professor approves a proctored test for a student, that student needs to reserve a proctor through the Tutor Bookings QR code available on bulletin boards around campus and in the Swede Space Student Resources Course. The professor needs to make the test available by arrangements with Reb Miller via email (millerrs@bethanylb.edu) or in person. Her office is Room 116 in the Wallerstedt Learning Center.

Academic Accommodations

Academic Support facilitates confidential accommodations for any student who had an IEP or 504 in high school, or has a medical referral for a temporary or permanent disability. This includes extended time, testing in a distraction free environment, note takers, and accessible classrooms.

Focused Study Room

Academic Support includes a quiet computer lab in Room 122 of the Wallerstedt Learning Center Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with tutors nearby for questions.
